Digital Rights Agency, the leading worldwide digital music distributor, Orbison Records, the home of key Roy Orbison titles, and Orby Records home of titles by Jerry Lee Lewis, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis and Carl Perkins announced today that DRA will digitally distribute the Orbison and Orby catalogs.

"We are thrilled to be involved in making the legendary Orbison and Orby titles available to fans through digital downloads, subscription music services and mobile entertainment offerings" said DRA managing director, Tuhin Roy.

The Digital Rights Agency currently distributes over 180 leading independent record labels to digital music outlets worldwide. DRA's outlets include major download and subscription services including iTunes, RealNetworks' Rhapsody, Napster and Musicmatch, ringtone offerings available through Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint, AT&T and foreign mobile operators including O2, Vodaphone and NTT Docomo, and Internet-connected jukeboxes such as TouchTunes.

"Roy Orbison is a true American Icon whose music inspired millions around the world", said Barbara Orbison, owner and President of Orbison Records. He possessed a rare combination of vocals, musicianship and songwriting abilities, which captivated listeners. "We are excited to work with the Digital Rights Agency to increase music lovers' on-line access to Roy's legendary recordings, to rediscover his brilliance and even find those rare recordings from the Orbison Building's Vault"

The Orbison Records catalog includes everything from Roy's Sun Records classic of "Ooby Dooby" to his later Grammy winning versions of "Oh, Pretty Woman", "That Lovin' You Feelin' Again" and "Crying" with k.d. lang. Roy's classics from his "In Dreams: Greatest Hits", rare live bootleg recordings, and his final recordings such as "I Drove All Night" and "You Got It" are all now available, plus the tracks from his album "King Of Hearts", which is currently unavailable elsewhere. In addition to Roy Orbison's catalog, the label will also make available tracks from it's Orby Records catalog, which includes the Sun Records catalog, a Celtic salute to the songs of Roy Orbison and a wonderful Christmas record full of holiday classics. Orbison Records hopes to continue to release more items from its treasured vaults and archives in the coming months.
