LOVEY is becoming a hot property on the mid-Atlantic music scene. After releasing their debut EP SEPPUKU on Manta Ray Records in 2016, the band has been on a steady mission to make more fans and expose them to the LOVEY sound. They followed SEPPUKU with the single “ATTENTION DEFECIT, That sound is brilliantly expressed on the new single “SIGNING OFF”.

“SIGNING OFF” offers a more pared down approach, yet it is somehow heavier than their more recent offerings. Lovey have proven they can not only write hard rock and perform "radio friendly" singles but can also mine the heavy metal and death metal styles as well.

“SIGNING OFF” is a short metal banger written by all three members. Bassist and lead vocalist Ray's lyrics seems to question why the world is the way it is and why so much pain and suffering go on and should he just "sign off" and bow out or should he keep fighting. The song speaks of finding answers to the many questions that arise while living life. The song starts out on 10 and literally keeps this breakneck pace for the near 3 minute opus.

Guitarist Omar is a strong representative for LOVEY in the local music scene, and is very active in it. He can be seen in the video for labelmates “BUILD THE WALL's song “Tax the Homeless”, where he is a featured character. Drummer Darin, is also active playing in local metal band “DOOMSDAY MAVERICKS”.

You can find the single “SIGNING OFF” everywhere digital music is sold. You can find all their music at www.loveytheband.com , facebook, Instagram, and Twitter ( @loveytheband at all aforementioned social media sites)

Signing Off is released by Manta Ray Records and distributed by The Orchard.###
