Singer/songwriter Jennifer Richman Has Article Published In OT Practice Magazine
Jennifer Richman is a Brooklyn based singer/songwriter and occupational therapist who uses music as a healing modality. Her article, Evaluating Clients With Autism Spectrum Disorders: A Life Span Approach co-written with Carolyn Murray-Slutzky and John Pagano is to be published in OT Practice Magazine this month. OT Practice is a publication of the American Occupational Therapy Association. In the article, Jennifer shares some of the benefits of using music as a way of helping persons with autism and mental health challenges to improve self-esteem and functional participation in the community. Jennifer is also lecturing at Columbia University this month and is currently working on her Sophmore album, produced by Michael Rogers.
