TMA Signs Glory Attaochu To Management
A 2012 graduate of the Bethel School of Worship, GLORY ATTAOCHU (stage name “DUWA”) is an accomplished self-taught musician with a genuine heart to worship and lead others into God’s presence through music and intercession.
“For as long as I can remember I’ve been singing. I watched one of our home videos and in all of them I was singing. My brothers would be running around and playing. My passion to sing has been there since I was a child. I’ve always been passionate about singing and worship.”
In college (The University of North Carolina at Pembroke) she picked up the guitar and taught herself how to play. Glory then began leading worship for Campus Crusade for Christ. Following her calling to become a better and more effective worship leader she attended Bethel School of Worship. Afterwards the doors opened for her to minister and lead worship at different campuses.
“My parents have been ministers as long as I can remember, founding an outreach ministry that started out as a prayer and Bible study in Washington, DC. I’m always a part of singing, leading worship, etc. I’m a worshipper first and a musician second. I remember one night I was in my room and I prayed to God that I just wanted to worship, regardless of whether I make any money from it.”
Her inaugural EP “Mouthpiece” will be released in late February. It is comprised of six original songs produced by SoundXtreem (Dayo Oderinde, producer) in Atlanta, GA.
