April Diamond Debuts On Billboard Chart

HOLLYWOOD, January 13, 2018
She has been performing for years and featured many times on TV and other artists' songs, but now singer April Diamond adds the words National Billboard Top 40 Charting Artist before her name.

Lose Control, her song of letting go, debuted on Billboard Magazine's Hot Dance Club Songs on January 6th at #47 and climbed this week to #40 with a bullet. Written and produced by David Longoria, it was remixed by some of the top remixers in the business including Grammy winner Dave Aude, Robert Eibach, DJ Mental Blue, Twisted Dee, Chuda Beats, and others.

"April has worked so hard to achieve this I am really happy for her," Longoria says, adding "she has the voice and personality to make the audience want to dance."

She grew up singing in church before taking on dance music. In the ever changing world of EDM (Electronic Dance Music) she has found a groove to express herself.

"I have so much fun performing my rhythmic dance songs and the crowds really inspire me when they can't help but move to the music," she says.

Diamond has been extra busy of late as she is also featured on David Longoria's "Now Or Never," the theme song from the new movie BLOODLINE: Now Or Never.

"It all happened so fast!" she explains, adding "when David called me to sing on it we recorded it in a day and before we knew it, it was on the Oscars ballot and short list of Best Original Songs."
