Where are you from?
Born and raised mostly in Maryland on the East Coast

Describe your sound:
a hip hop storyteller that has an East coast vibe with a midwest flow

Tell us about your latest project:
Reason Why was actually sparked after watching the series and reading the book “13 Reasons Why”. My friend Raphael McCorey produced the instrumental, and my friend Amy Cummings did the artwork based off our our conversations about how we need to inspire people to be the “reason why you never feel all hope is gone”.

Who inspires you?
People. I write based off of what I see and experience. Whether I'm doing features or my own songs, I'm always trying to show real life.

How did you get into music?
I used to teach family life in the school system, and I realized that the music a lot of these kids were listening to wasn't building them up or giving them any positivity. So, I decided to try and make some music for them. Kids in middle and high school kept coming up to me after that saying that they loved the music.

Where do you see your career in 5 years?
I honestly have a huge desire to have an non-profit arts program that teaches and encourages positive art from people who may never see the big stages, but have talent that needs to get out there. It's not how big the stage is, it's how you use the stage you're given.

Where can we check out your sounds?
The best place is at my website www.tbhministries.org. It's got free music, music to buy, music videos, and a whole lot more.

Tell us something about yourself that the people need to know:
I love creating, and I love traveling. Put those two things together, and it's a pretty dangerous combo for me
