New York, NY, November 20, 2017—Holmeswood releases an acoustic remix of the song James Dean which was featured on his successful 2015 self-titled album “Holmeswood”. Originally, James Dean highlighted an electro-pop/rock sensibility. In the James Dean - Eden Remix, Holmeswood incorporates a jazz influence to the mix in tribute to the timeless modern edge and sensitivity inspiration of James Dean; also an avid jazz connoisseur and played several instruments in the jazz scene of the 1950s. See and listen to Dean’s jazz album (James Dean on conga drums, Bob Romeo on flute, with Duke Mitchell)

The James Dean (Eden Remix), in tribute to the film East of Eden, is the first of three James Dean film title inspired remixes. The next remix to be released on Dec 1 is Holmeswood’s Rebel Without a Cause inspired dance remix entitled James Dean - Rebel Remix; followed by the dubstep remix tribute to Giant entitled James Dean - Giant Remix due for release on December 15. The original recording of James Dean was co-written and recorded with NYC based British music producer Jamie Muffett. The James Dean - Eden Remix was re-arranged and produced by Argentinian pianist / composer / producer Dario Boente (Antonio Sanchez, Ronny Jordan, Fernando Otero, Joshua Thompson, Pablo Aslan, Mark Whitfield and others) using the sounds of flute, piano and conga drums; and co-produced by Eric Jayk (Sandra Bernhard’s Rock Band and her off-Broadway Show, “Everything Bad, & Beautiful”, Wildstreet, Astra The 22s, and others).
