I Have The Creative Ability To Switch Up My Sound But Still Remain True To My Vision @KINGbrie_
Where are you from?
Iím a military kid thatís lived up and down the east coast but I claim New Jersey
Describe your sound:
90s upbeat hip hop
r&b vibes reminiscent of missy/timbaland
Tell us about your latest track:
My latest track is a freestyle called, ď9:22pmĒ. I recorded the Tuesday 9/19 before my birthday which was 9/22. I found this beat that I immediately gravitated to. I went into the booth and just released a lot of pent up aggression towards a specific conflict in my life. It was real, raw and honest which is hard for me to do but I had to let it all go. Despite how personal it is, once I heard it mixed I had to make the song public.
Who inspires you?
I gain inspiration from authentic creative energy. I la la love Beyonce, of course. However, the artists at the moment who make me want to expand artistic abilities with my writing are Jhene Aiko, SZA, and HER but older artist that influence me creatively are Janet Jackson, Missy Elliot, and Lauryn Hill.
Where do you see your career in 5 years?
Expanding and sharing my love of art with others that support me. I hope to be fully developed as an artist and a brand in 5 years.
Where can we check out your sounds?
Right now soundcloud
Iím constantly working so my discography will be consistently growing on there.
Tell us something about yourself that the people need to know.
There is no box for me to fit in. I have the creative ability to switch up my sound but still remain true to my vision and my own personal brand. My musical pallet is so vast thereís no telling what could inspire me and I could create next.
