On Sunday October 8th, Bob and Barbara's in Philadelphia, hosts a Free Event in the heart of the City of Brotherly Love's South Street. This longstanding local establishment, is known for their variety of entertainment from Jazz to Karaoke, and the Best Drag show in Town. And especially their creation of the now Citywide drink special "the A-Shot"($3 PBR and Jim Beam Whiskey)

The event will feature local musical acts, as well as a touring band from NYC called Imbolg. This will be their second stop on their tour to promote their second album on Forever Autumn Records, the Sorrows. Known for their Macabre sounds reminiscent of Black Sabbath,The Misfits and Type O Negative combined with ethereal synthesizers, an articulate and powerful Rhythm section, topped with the potent and moving vocals Imbolg's leader vocalist/guitar player Nate Dal Cais. This act will not dissapoint as they lure your into their darkly enchanted spectrum of sound.

Sea Daughter is the project of sole founder Michael Carr, an Atlantic City musician who grew up in a violent basement punk-hardcore scene finding refuge and admiration amongst bands like LCD Soundsytem, Fugazi and New Order.

Over top of raucous Sonic Youth inspired guitar riffs Sea Daughter sings about resentment, apathy, paranoia and existentialism, while searching for the reasons we connect or cannot connect with each other as human beings in our increasingly competitive present day.

Last but not least , Philadelphia's own : the Last Generation on Film. An ambient synth pop duo compromised of Jeff Familetti and Ryan Bayler. Since joining forces, this team has created an Expressive yet perfect layering of the latest sounds imaginable with charming vocals delivering some profound and relative lyrics which can be seen and heard in their latest video "Do it Better". The song title appears to be somewhat of a challenge to whoever is watching because the storyline of the video makes the music become the perfect soundtrack to what is being seen,so I'm sure even the most talented of filmmakers could not do this better themselves.

Bob and Barbara's is located at 1509 South Street in Philadelphia. This a Free event starts at 6pm. 21 and over with ID. For more information please call 215-545-4511 or visit: http://bobandbarbaras.com
