The Toronto Music Industry Association & Music Managers Forum Canada Present: "Artist Management: Finding Your Partner In Success"

An artist manager can be the most important partnership a musician enters into. They'll help steer the ship, find opportunities and manage your public image, all while finding lost luggage and banjo strings at 3am.

But how do you know who or when to find such a team member? What exactly DOES a manager do? And can they really make miracles happen?

With these questions in mind, the TMIA is proud to bring you our very first workshop (ever).... Artist Management: Finding Your Partner in Success.

Presented in partnership with Music Managers Forum Canada, this workshop will explore the who, what, when & why about this pivotal role in any artists team. You'll gain insights on what to expect from a potential manager, what they can (and can't) do for your career, and more.

Interested in becoming an artist manager? This workshop is for you, too, as you'll learn what it takes to help bands reach their goals.

Panelists include:

Nathan Stein - Artist Manager/A&R, Bedlam Music Management (The Sheepdogs, The Coppertone, Monster Truck)
Rob Lanni - Artist Manager and Co-founder, Coalition Music (Our Lady Peace, Simple Plan, Justin Nozuka)
Aaron Miller - Artist Manager, Arts & Crafts (The Darcys)
