Inch Chua Releases The Bedroom EP

Take a peek into Inch Chua's world as she releases a free-for-download EP. Her first solo outing The Bedroom combines her love of both acoustic singer-songwriters and kooky electronica into her unique brand of folktronica.

While peppered by gentle guitar arpeggios and urgent beats, the four-track EP promises her trademark powerhouse vocal delivery as well.

Without the boisterous guitar jams of her regular rock outfit Allura, Inch's lyrics takes a step into the introspective with matters close to her heart.

On 'Aqueous Oblivion', she shares her thoughts on being newly baptised and finding a place in the modern world while 'Devotion In Reality' is a tale tinged with regret and hurt for missed opportunities. 'Rule The World' is a humorous and playful promise to a lover about growing old together.

The EP is a showcase of a young songwriter coming into her own as she prepares to release her full-length album at the end of the year. Recorded in Inch's bedroom literally, the album was mixed by Leonard Soosay at Snakeweed Studio and mastered by Matthew Gray at MatthewGrayMastering. The Bedroom will be released on Monday 24 August to coincide with her performance at Baybeats 2009.

The track listing is as follows:
1) Rule The World
2) Aqueous Oblivion
3) Devotion In Reality
4) Find Fix And Save
