Music Choice Announces The Addition Of Jacqueline Romano As Its New Director Of Research
Music Choice, the leading multi-platform music network that reaches millions of consumers through their TVs, PCs, and cell phones, today announced the addition of Jacqueline (Jackie) Romano as its new Director of Research. In her new role, Jackie will be responsible for overseeing all research efforts, including establishing standardized usage reporting and analysis, as well as designing and directing custom research in support of brand, content, sales and product development. Under Jackie's direction, the research department will provide key insights into the awareness, trial, appeal and adoption of various Music Choice offerings, including Music Choice On Demand, the most popular free video-on-demand service in the country and the network's video-on-demand network which will be available in its first test market later this month. "Jackie's extensive and diverse research background combined with her industry experience equated to the perfect candidate for our Director of Research," says Christina Tancredi, Executive Vice President of Music Choice. "Jackie will be challenged with developing and executing a research plan that monitors awareness and usage of the Music Choice network's many platforms with a focus on the network's #1 video-on-demand music service." Prior to joining Music Choice, Jackie worked as an independent consultant, providing research support to media companies across television, print, online and emerging platforms. Prior to her work as an independent consultant, Jackie guided research efforts as Research Director at Martha Stewart Living TV and also at Scripps Networks, supporting programming, brand management, and marketing, sales, online and business development initiatives. Jackie received her Bachelor's degree in Mass Communications from the University of Massachusetts/Amherst.
