(November 30, 2005) - Country Radio Broadcasters, Inc. (CRB) has announced CRS-37 will host a special Kenny Rogers Panel. The panel is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. to noon on Friday, February 17, 2006. The panel will be an interview-type setting. The discussion will be geared towards "riding the highs and lows of the entertainment business." It will also be a historical career retrospective look on Kenny's long-standing career and his ability to brand himself and keep himself relevant through many outlets. Kenny Rogers career in the music industry is immeasurable. He has recorded 61 albums with worldwide sales in excess of 105 million albums. He has received three Grammys, 11 People’s Choice Awards, 18 American Music Awards, eight Academy of Country Music Awards and five Country Music Association Awards. Rogers was named the "Favorite Singer of All Time" in PM Magazine/USA today poll in 1986 and voted "Favorite Male Vocalist" in 1980 and 1989 by readers of People Magazine. He has topped the charts with 22 No. 1 hit records, one of which on his own independent record label, Dreamcatcher Records. He is ranked #4 in Top Selling Male Artists of all time by the RIAA with 20 platinum albums. He has also had tremendous success in television as the famed Brady Hawks in the five-episode mini-series "The Gambler," and starred in the feature film Six Pack as well as numerous made for TV movies. In addition to the annual staples like educational panels and discussions, the CRS-37 agenda will focus on the present critical and controversial industry issues.
