Music Player Network, the world's leading music instrument publishing company, is proud to announce that Motorola, Inc. plans to unveil the Motorola iRadio Get Heard Network at this fall's music consumer summit, Music Player Live! (MLP!), October 21-23 at the Crowne Plaza Times Square in New York City.

The forthcoming Motorola iRadio service may transform radio as we know it by making it more mobile and self-expressive. The service will offer hundreds of channels of personalized commercial-free music and talk stations, pre-programmed and ready to rock. Through the iRadio Get Heard Network, independent labels and artists shall have the ability to create their very own radio stations that will be made available to broadcast nationwide on one of  the most ubiquitous personal technology devices  around – the mobile phone.

Motorola plans to revolutionize radio by offering a new, digitally protected distribution channel and new possibilities for monetizing content. Artists will be able to connect directly to their fans and may expand their audiences to new listeners. . Producers will have the opportunity to develop another revenue stream from the deepest parts of their catalogs, and take chances on new artists and formats

Motorola iRadio service is expected to launch during the first quarter of 2006. Motorola will preview the iRadio service in a car parked in Times Square outside of the Crowne Plaza, and at the Motorola booth at the show. For more information, visit www.motorola.com/iradio/

Music Player Live! is a thrilling, totally over-the-top extravaganza for anyone interested in making music. To ensure that all levels of interest are thoroughly covered, the event is multi-layered and multi-faceted. MPL! offers a chance to hang with stars, professional musicians, and the people who make the hardware (guitars, basses, keyboards, drums, etc.) and software (recording programs, effects plug-ins, etc.) that helps translate inspiration into music.
