INXS To Sign Line 6 Variax Guitar For Upcoming Contest

Line 6, Inc., inventors of digital modeling guitars, amplifiers and effects, announced that INXS and its new lead signer will autograph a Line 6 Variax for an upcoming contest that will commence on September 15, 2005. Participants can enter to win the signed Variax at www.line6.com. This will be an exclusive offering as the first piece of gear autographed by the band and new lead singer.

Rock Star: INXS, a brand new reality show on CBS, hosted by Dave Navarro and Brooke Burke, will result in the selection of a new lead singer. The show premiered July 11, 2005 and the finale show will air September 20, 2005. Auditions were held all over the world and narrowed down to fifteen finalists, currently three contestants remain.

With over twenty-five years of rock star experience and more than 73 US, UK and Australian hits, the band is ready to take the stage with a brand new look and sound. Line 6 has teamed up with the legendary band to help produce custom sounds. INXS will be using Vetta II, HD 147, Variax Bass , PODxt Live and PODxt Pro's.
