Rustie Blue Donating CD Sales To Red Cross
Rustie Blue will be donating all profits from CD sales to the Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund to help the victims of Hurricane Katrina. Fans can purchase any of Rustie's three CD's from CDBaby: Chip Chip http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/rustieblue3, Enter At Your Own Risk http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/rustieblue, and That Oughta Do It http://cdbaby.com/cd/rustieblue2 Rustie Blue has released the third single off of her Chip Chip cd titled "Tomorrow Tonight". The song was written by Deborah Allen and Bill Anderson (who is also Rustie's duet partner on "Chip Chip"). This mid-tempo ballad is about a couple getting together for the very first time and not worrying about anything else but that moment. Rustie Blue was also in Country Weekly, again! The August 1 issue mentions in the Scene and Heard section that Rustie & Bill Anderson won the ECMA "Vocal Collaboration of the Year" for "Chip Chip", their hit duet. Also, Music City News has Rustie as the Artist of Interest for their August/September issue. Fans can listen to song clips and read more about Rustie in the feature! After recently parting ways with Bluesprings Music Group, Rustie Blue has signed a new booking agent agreement with Mission Country (Rachael Warwick, Arley Karlsen) for France and other European countries. Jean Claude Paulin du Besset of Mission Country will continue putting together a European tour for Rustie during 2006. Rustie Blue now has her own fan club! Fans can register for a basic (free) or platinum membership. To start off with a bang, Rustie Blue is having a membership contest, the True Blue Giveaway! From now until October 1, 2005, fans that join the basic fan club at www.rustieblue.com/contestpage.htm will be entered to win an upgrade to the Platinum Membership and an autographed 2-cd pack (of Rustie Blue's Chip Chip cd and Bill Anderson's The Way I Feel) to a grand prize winner, and an upgrade to a runner-up winner! Current and new Platinum fan club members will also be entered in to another contest. MP3s of the "Tomorrow Tonight", a copy of the Chip Chip album, interviews, and print quality photos available to media by request. Rustie also has a sound byte recorded for radio about the story behind "Tomorrow Tonight" and how the song ended up in her hands.
