Evolution Promotion And RadioWave Monitor Announce Partnership
Evolution Promotion and RadioWave Monitor have partnered to bring musical artists unprecedented services of online radio promotion, distribution and tracking services. The comprehensive service targets thousands of licensed online radio stations in all genres. Only licensed stations pay royalties to artists for airplay. This saves artists thousands of hours of researching the legitimate stations, finding the contact information for each, sending cds, following up for airplay and tracking the results. Through this service, artists can now get their music distributed to online radio stations, promoted to each of them and track their results which show what stations are playing the song, the number of spins a song is receiving and the size of the audience that it is reaching. RadioWave Monitor's digital delivery system provides Online Radio Programmers with the artist's music, biographical information, photos, cd cover art and all pertinent publishing information. In addition, a monthly cd compilation includes the artist's songs and info and gets mailed out to the leading Online Radio Stations for further impact. RadioWave Monitor uses custom-built monitoring technology that provides on-the-air music detection services 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Their monitoring system is designed specifically for online radio stations and is compatible with all major streaming and software providers including: Yahoo!, Live365, Shoutcast, NBOX, SWCast.net, LoudCity and others. Evolution Promotion works exclusively with Online Radio Stations that are licensed through the performing rights societies including SoundExchange, the organization designated by the U.S. Copyright Office to collect and distribute statutory royalties to sound recording copyright owners and artists. SoundExchange has also been working with international performance rights organizations such as PPL (U.K.), SENA (Netherlands) and Somexfon (Mexico) to facilitate the distribution of royalties owed to U.S. artists for digital airplay in these respective countries.
