Storm Within, winner of various Battle of the Bands awards in the Valley and nominee for Best Metal Band in Arizona, have been selected out of hundreds of entries for a showcase performance at the ConneXion International Music Festival, to be held at the Stratosphere Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, NV. (June 9th - June 12th, 2005).

The Connexion International Music Festival (CIMF) will be held for 4 days in June, in Las Vegas, NV. 2005. The opening of the festival will be launched with a massive networking party for performing artists and industry personnel. CIMF will be nationally publicized through Newspapers, Magazines, the Internet, and through a Nationwide Street Team. Select members of the music and film industries have been invited to attend, and to cover all of the CIMF events and showcases.

"We are extremely proud to have been chosen for a showcase performance, and to be one of only two bands representing Arizona at the ConneXion International Music Festival in Las Vegas!" says frontwoman, Debra Darlene.

Storm Within recently showcased their unique style of female fronted metal at the Go-Girls Invasion of SXSW in Austin, TX. Storm Within got a further boost in the fall of 2004, making four of the five cuts in the Battle for Ozzfest Competition, and can be seen in cameos on the reality show airing on MTV. They are also fresh off the heels of their crowd-pleasing performance at the Arizona State Fair following Velvet Revolver’s headlining set on Oct. 23rd, and a supporting slot for Drowning Pool at the Marquee Theatre on Nov. 21st, 2004.

2005 looks to be the year that Storm Within will be unleashed across America. With such a powerful schedule of festival performances on their horizon, Storm Within is excited to kick off their National Tour in their home state, at the Arizona Blackened Deth & Hardkore Fest II at Chaser's Nightclub in Scottsdale, AZ. April 29th, 2005.
