NEW YORK, NY April 18, 2005 – The first meeting of the New York City Podcasting Association will be held on April 20, 2005 at Kamen Entertainment Group Recording Studios in Times Square at 7PM. Press is invited.

Podcasting is sweeping the world with podcasts being created in virtually every country. According to a podcast directory at Ipodderx.com, there are now 4102 podcasts available for subscription covering topics as diverse as MARINA’s Workout Podcasts for fitness to Sci-fi Channel’s Battlestar Galactica’s Podcast to Beercasting Podcasts direct from your local pub.

According to Roy Kamen, President of Kamen Entertainment Group, “our MARINA Workout Podcast downloads at www.marinaspodcast.com have doubled from our premier in March from 6,000 to a projected 15,000 for April, with no advertising… the growth is just phenomenal.”
