HBO Television's New Drama Family Bonds Features Tantric's Cover Of The Fleetwood Mac Classic "The Chain"

Maverick Recording artists Tantric recently released their second CD for the label, After We Go, and included a cover of the Fleetwood Mac classic "The Chain," simply because they wanted to do a cover for the CD and it was the first song that they heard on a classic rock station.

We were tossing around the idea of recording a cover," states Hugo Ferreira (Vocals, Tantric) " but we just could not agree on a song. After going back and forth a few times, I turned on the radio and suggested that we cover the first song that we heard. 'The Chain' came on and we all looked at each other and were like, wow that could be really good. Then we flipped around the dial and heard two more Fleetwood Mac songs. We took it as an omen."

Now, a few months later, their stunning rendition of the song is being featured in support of HBO's new fall series Family Bonds in both their promo and advertising campaigns. The HBO series Family Bonds is about the Evangelista family; not actors, just characters. As tight and tough as they come, the Evangelistas are like any other hard-working American family, with one major difference - they're bail bondsmen and bounty hunters. The series will debut on HBO on Sunday, September 19th at 10PM.
