2004 Nashville Star Winner "Brad Cotter" To Appear On 2004 Jerry Lewis MDA Telethon--Labor Day Weekend
Brad Cotter enters the list of stars (stars of stage, screen, music and comedy) scheduled to appear including: Celine Dion, Elton John, Carrot Top, Charo, Kimberley Locke, Billy Crystal, Tony Orlando, Kenny Rogers, Julie Roberts, Dr. Phil, The Rock - and many more! Originating from CBS Television City in Hollywood with segments from New York, Las Vegas, and Milwaukee, the 21 ? hour network show airs from 9:00PM EDT Sunday, September 5, to 6:30PM EDT, Monday, September 6. (Broadcast times vary in some markets. Check local listings for start times.) The broadcast raises funds for and awareness of MDA's programs of research and services benefiting people with any of more than 40 neuromuscular diseases. Some 60 million viewers in the United States and Canada are expected to tune in to the Telethon, and another million worldwide will see the show on MDA's Web site, www.mdausa.org, via streaming video. Brad shares his feelings on this first-time telethon experience, "I am overwhelmed by the invitation to participate in the telethon. Like many others, I have watched the telethon for years; since I was a child. Not only is this a once-in-a-life time opportunity to share the stage with these renowned entertainers, I am more than happy to support this worldwide cause." Brad will perform his first hit single, "I Meant To," from his debut album entitled Patient Man on Monday morning, September 6.
