This program is designed for students between the ages of 12-17 to have a head start in their education and careers development. In addition, the Youth Engineering Program will provide intensive academic help and college preparation assistance from Basement Recordings’ professional staff. The overall educational objective is to provide each student with a theoretical as well as a practical understanding of the components of a mini studio that combines music, video and computer technology.
The six-week program will consist of combined lectures, guest speakers, hands-on workshops and on site visits for a total immersion learning experience.
Topics will include Computers and Peripherals, Windows 98, Multimedia Production, Digital Music Production, HTML, PowerPoint 2000, Animation, 3D Modeling, Interactive Computer Programming and more.
Basement Recordings successful outreach efforts has made Basement Recordings Inc. an educational resource center directly available to the community.
