New 20,000 Square Foot Facilities Feature Dedicated AVC SD & HD Demo and Evaluation Capabilities and Advanced Engineering Space

Modulus Video, Inc., a provider of award-winning broadcast quality MPEG-4 AVC video compression systems for high definition (HD) and standard definition (SD) television, announced today that it has opened the doors to its new world headquarters in Sunnyvale, CA, in the heart of Silicon Valley. The only company dedicated exclusively to broadcast quality MPEG-4 AVC solutions now offers the world's first demonstration and evaluation facility devoted to AVC SD & HD. The 20,000 square foot facility more than quadruples the company's available space and features advanced world-class engineering facilities.

"Since NAB 2004 in April, we have been thrilled by the response to Modulus Video's AVC encoding solutions and this new facility provides us with the infrastructure to fully support this emerging market," said Bob Wilson, Chairman & CEO of Modulus Video. "We encourage the industry to join us in Sunnyvale and see first-hand how AVC solutions from Modulus Video meet the rapidly growing demand for SD and HD digital services with simple modifications to their existing infrastructure."

The new Modulus Video offices are located at:

985 Stewart Drive
Sunnyvale, CA 94085
Tel: (408) 245 2150
FAX: +1 408-245-2159
EMAIL: info@modulusvideo.com

The Modulus AVC demonstration and evaluation facility is the best place in the world to see real-time, broadcast quality AVC encoders and decoders that support the new AVC standard, the widely-recognized replacement for the MPEG-2 broadcast video compression standard. This facility is ideally suited to support integration activities for early adopters and Modulus Video development partners, as well as for conducting AVC technology evaluation for broadcast, postproduction, Telco and satellite applications.
