Earth, Wind & Fire's Rockwalk Induction
EARTH, WIND & FIRE were inducted into Hollywood's RockWalk Monday, July 7 by actor and radio personality STEVE HARVEY. The six-time Grammy Award-winning band--while in Los Angeles for their sold-out July 2 concert at The Greek Theatre, in support of their critically acclaimed new album THE PROMISE--were honored for making a significant contribution to the evolution of Rock `n Roll. EARTH, WIND & FIRE's handprints and signatures will reside in front of the Guitar Center on Sunset Boulevard alongside such other accomplished musicians and innovators as B.B. King, George Martin, Johnny Cash, James Brown, Carl Perkins, Bonnie Raitt, John Lee Hooker, Brian Wilson, Carlos Santana, Johnny Cash, Los Lobos, KISS, Aerosmith and Van Dyke Parks, among numerous others. Members of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, EARTH, WIND & FIRE have sold over 40 million albums in the U.S. alone.
