Black Dog Venture Partners announced today that they have acquired a ten percent stake in Utah based video game developer, Wobbl3 Entertainment. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The company is known for designing immersive experiences through gameplay synchronized to music and licensing Celebrity IP's. Their flagship title DubWars has been showcased at events around the world and was recently part of a successful Twitch Prime offering.

"We are excited to be working with Scott and Black Dog Venture Partners because of their history and success in entertainment, sports, and technology," said Joe Albrethsen, founder and CEO of WOBBL3. "Celebrities, Athletes, and Music Producers, are all trying to engage with their communities in a meaningful way and see the revenue opportunities in the $100 Billion games industry."

Their flagship title DubWars is a music game that combines the mechanics of a top-down shooter with the power of Dubstep and Electronic music. Your weapons are synced to the music creating times of intense weapon load outs and calm moments where your survival skills are tested.

To get a better idea you can watch a totally NSFW Review of DubWars by PAX Founders Gabe and Tycho who called the game "A National Treasure!".

DubWars will be coming to mobile devices in 2018 and feature unreleased music content for influential producers and their millions of fans. Upcoming titles include a Football Management app featuring a “celebrity athlete” and a Game co-launching with a movie blockbuster in 2018.

Black Dog CEO Scott Kelly commented on the deal, “The team at Wobbl3 Entertainment have a track record of success in the gaming and our background in the music and entertainment makes this partnership a perfect fit. We look forward to capitalizing on the merging of music, sport and gaming”
