WEST SACRAMENTO CA (IFS) -- Every once in a while an old dog gets a bone with a large chunk of meat on it -- and once in a while, your ears get a chance to really get candied up with some great ideas and new directions in music. We did not discover this young man -- he discovered us and WOW -- are we thankful for this great new talent. This is totally outside of the box! He's not great - but very sensible. Not "slick" - just practical. It will take you several plays to get into this music -- but when you do -- you are going to flip -- you will call this young man a "genius". You hear Sly Stone, Grand Master Flash and a "ball of fire".

Ace Lover, who makes his signature brand of hip-hop out of New York City, takes something from everything to get his characteristic sound. -S. McCauley

Ace Lover's been Devlin' and javelin'
celebrity-status style in the New York City scene for a minute. The Spanglish homeboy made a sudden splash with his debut single when he was still a teenage street art creator & Hip Hop MC. He was originally discovered by Indie record executive producer Phil Rust of Music Family at an MC battle in the Lower East Side of Manhattan at the age of 17.

Phil helped develop him into a professional recording artist. Ace released two 12" vinyl records on the Music Family imprint which garnered a substantial amount of interest in the indie hip-hop market worldwide. After his contract was up at Music Family he was quickly picked up by Cajo Communications & continued to release music through Fat Beats Distribution. During his stint with Cajo Communications, he toured the USA & Canada & was named the next 100 upcoming artists to look out for by URB magazine. As the years went by he has cultivated his crafts & evolved into a uniquely
talented, self-contained, musical recording artist & contemporary art painter.

Riding off the momentum of his 7" release in
2015, he released a series of visual music art videos with a steady release of underground singles & Eps.

Ace Lover will be making his contemporary art debut in 2017 with his 1st exhibition after years of paying his dues as a New York City Street Art creator. He will also be debuting in an online pop-up shop with limited edition Ace Lover art products.
