Guitarist Denis Taaffe, is a solo electric guitarist based out of Bloomington, IN who uses electric guitar and guitar loops done on the fly. He has just released his 211th full length album: Modern Rock Guitar Vol.211'Gardens'. A week ago he released his 210th album. So what is the problem?

Well as it turns out, many online stores are ill- equipped to handle the prolific guitarist's albums. choosing instead to reject his albums. As Denis states 'Well, its very frustrating, you want to release your new album only to have it rejected. Not because its not good, but because of the amount of albums I create and release".It's a real shame for those looking forward to his new releases.
To be clear, the rejections are from major online stores. "I just don't think that they anticipated that some artists, no longer hindered by record labels or the technology would become quite prolific. To date, I have created and released 211 albums since my debut album in 1999 and believe me that's without really trying on my end. I just am able to record, mix and master my own instrumental guitar material which I do create a lot of" Denis mentions.
If and when a online store does try to reject one of his new releases Denis has found a way around this usually by renaming an album slightly.Denis uses Distrokids which flaunts unlimited album distribution for $19.99 a year. "Yes, so far I have been able to get all my albums out,but sometimes its a little trying and its over silly things like taking the word 'rock' out of my title or something similar.I just think that this is a new era in music. The 1 album a year model of the past is just that ; the past.". Denis's message to the online stores is simple, "Adapt or get out of the way".Denis Already has his 212th album ready to go and will definitely be available at his website and will be available at "most" online music stores/
