Crazy Daysies to open for Bella Donna Project tribute to Stevie Nix

(Jacksonville, FL)—Jacksonville-based music duo The Crazy Daysies will open for Stevie Nix tribute band the Bella Donna Project on Friday, Sept. 1 at 1904 Music Hall. The show marks the first time the Daysies have opened for a tribute band.

A tribute band to the ‘goddess of rock’, Bella Donna blends two bands, Luna Pearl and Katty Shack, and both those bands continue to perform on their own. Based in Palm Bay, the group formed in 2016. The tribute band made their first appearance on the “big stage”, according to Florida Today, when they opened for Foghat at the King Center in Melbourne (FL).

Members of Bella Donna include George Delli on guitar and vocals, Ira Cruver on keys and vocals, Todd Charron on drums and vocals, Massimo Delli on bass, Case Williams on drums and vocals, Heather Charron and Katty Pleasant doing backup vocals, and Jody Delli as lead vocalist.

The Bella Donna Project includes musicians who have played many different venues with their own bands.

Sisters Rebecca Day and Jennifer Day Thompson make up the Crazy Daysies duo, with Rebecca on guitar and vocals and Jennifer on viola and vocals. The two also perform with the full band including Wes Goode of Fernandina Beach and Chris Sands of Jacksonville. Percussionist Beau Littles of Yulee has performed consistently with the duo.

The Daysies have traveled from Texas to upstate South Carolina to perform at numerous venues.

They will release their first full album of original “swampytonk” music this fall. The album is being produced by Josh Cobb of Rockbot Studios in Jacksonville.

The Stevie Nix Tribute show starts at 9 p.m. Tickets are available on Ticketmaster.
