Award winning singer/songwriter and producer Tony Moore released the video for his brand new single "So Many Ways (Of Missing You)" on July 27th 2017, 70 years after the famous UFO crash at Roswell in New Mexico.

The video is a light hearted but touching vision of a future rockstar travelling between gigs in his "Space Transit" reminiscing about his "girlfriend" who, we go on to discover, was actually an Alien.

The Director and producer is Spyros Melaris who fooled the world for over two decades when he created one of the greatest hoaxes of all time with his "Alien Autopsy" footage made in 1995. Having an "Alien" co-star and a Roswell "twist" at the end, the video seems to bridge time between 1947 and the present day in an unusual and unexpected way.

Everything was shot in just 10 hours, with a budget of less than £50 for props and catering and the final footage was edited without any CGI or green screen to create the various effects and sense of movement through space, in fact the effects were all done in real time.

Tony commented "The genesis of this idea happened very quickly during a 3 hour phone conversation where Spyros and I brainstormed the general story line and how we could film it. With no budget to speak of, we had to be as creative as possible to find ways of achieving the end result and make it as convincing as possible."

From first conversation to finally edited video only took a mere 2 weeks and Spyros noted "When you have a tight deadline and limited facilities, you have to make quick decisions and work fast to maintain momentum, however this often brings better results than if you spend months planning and have a proper budget to work with. Creativity becomes king."

With a cast of only 3 (there were actually two different actresses taking the Alien role throughout the day) Spyros directing and two friends to help manhandle props around, everything was shot inside a long wheel base Ford transit in North London using mainly available light as well as a few iPhone's later on in the evening, to illuminate the shots.

The story is a simple one with a Universal message, missing someone special in your life. However as the narrative progresses we see that, first of all, the other person is an Alien female and then we see the romantic "flash backs' are both familiar yet strangely futuristic leading us finally to the reason why she is missed, which creates a moving and emotional link back to Roswell in 1947.

Spyros Melaris is a director, editor, film maker, magician and public speaker with numerous film and TV credits to his name including Music videos with 'Stiff Little Fingers' and Marcella Detroit, and his own Granada Sky TV series 'Mr Magic, Dirty Tricks' to name but a few,. Melaris has produced over 700 TV shows, films and theatrical productions in his career.
His most famous work was in creating the footage for the Alien Autopsy film in 1995, which reached over 1.2 billion people and has been featured on every major newspaper front cover, in countless magazines and broadcast on TV stations around the world. The Alien Autopsy is recognised as one of greatest hoaxes of all time.
