A&R LAB: A Space For Producers And Songwriters To Thrive

A&R Lab is an Award-winning multi-platinum music production company, that assists with the development of the next generation of songwriters and producers. Led by Reliant Music President and Founder, John Dexter, A&R Lab is a collaborative environment where hit songs are being written and placed with major artists, labels, management companies and sync brands across the globe. As an Award-winning multi-platinum songwriter and producer, Dexter is credited with 13 Top 10 singles and 10 Top 40 hits with over 43 million albums sold worldwide, and has contributed songs to three Academy Award winning films, including Top Gun and Nebraska. Dexter was the co-manager of Carly Rae Jepsen, whose massively successful single "Call Me Maybe", sold over 21 million copies worldwide and hit #1 on the US Billboard Hot 100. The single was recently ranked the "#1 Greatest Chorus of The 21st Century" by Billboard Magazine. On Media Base's 2016 year-end market share chart, Dexter's Warner Music distributed label, Reliant Music, was the #10 Hot AC and #8 AC radio ranked label in Canada.

Dexter brings his deep expertise in identifying the very best in talent and facilitating hit songs to A&R Lab, overseeing an exclusive group of hit-making songwriters and producers. In 2016 platinum selling singer-songwriter Andrew Allen's "What You Wanted", A&R'd and executive produced by Dexter, hit #17 at National Hot AC and #8 at National AC radio and his Christmas release "Favourite Christmas Song", written by Allen, hit #6 at Mainstream AC with Dexter executive producing. A&R Lab also recently licensed Stanton Project's single "Pitbull" to Universal Germany for the world (excluding Canada) and placed two songs on Paul Oakenfold's new global release Pop Killer.
