(Elmer, NJ) Appel Farm is pleased to welcome back to the Festival stage, musicians Jeffrey Gaines, Ben Arnold and Joe Crookston at the Wine & Music Festival on Saturday, June 3rd from 3 to 8pm, and Sunday, June 4, 12 to 5pm. Longtime Festival goers will remember the unforgettable solo performances of Jeffrey Gaines and Ben Arnold at past Music Fests. This year, marks their return to Appel Farm! As members of the mega-group David Uosikkinen’s In the Pocket, Jeffrey Gaines and Ben Arnold will perform in an all-star line-up that includes members of some of Philadelphia and South Jersey’s best loved bands – the Hooters, the A’s and Smash Palace to name a few. Don’t miss the chance to see so many Philadelphia greats on one stage! Sunday, June 4th at 3:45pm.

Songwriter, guitarist, painter, fiddler, slide player and storyteller, Joe Crookston returns to Appel Farm to enthrall guests with his unique gift for spinning yarns in both song and story. On Saturday, June 3rd at 9pm, Joe Crookston will perform a concert under the stars for our Overnight Camping guests. (Bonfire and s’mores included.) On Sunday, he’ll be back on our main stage to perform at 2:30pm. Additionally, Joe will display his original paintings throughout the weekend. Stop by his art tent to say hello and check out his art and to create your own piece of original art that will become part of a collaborative visual tribute to Appel Farm founder, Albert Appel. The finished piece will be on display at the festival and at Appel Farm’s Founder’s Day Celebration in honor of Albert and Clare Appel in September.

Music lovers can also enjoy TWO JAM-PACKED DAYS OF MUSIC at the Appel Farm Music & Wine Festival! Saturday and Sunday features performances by regional musicians from the Delaware Valley including Hotsy Totsy, Christopher Davis-Shannon, JUTAUN, Swing That Cat, Deirdre Finnegan and Dave Cohen. Check out the great music at https://www.appelfarm.org/events/performers/ Rent a Party Tent with excellent sight lines to the stage. Great for family gatherings, girls’ weekend, and college reunions!

This special two-day event brings together not only regional musicians, but highlights the arts and wineries of the area. Partnering with the Vintage Atlantic Wine Region, Appel Farm has invited 10 wineries to pour wines during the weekend. A wine will-call tent, located at the parking lot, will be provided free-of-charge so that guests may enjoy the day. Craft Artists showcase their unique goods including crystal jewelry, beaded necklaces, hand printed tees, fabric clothing décor, custom cheese boards, exotic wood vessels and more.

A Culinary Grove highlights regional cuisine including specialty desserts, balsamic vinegars, smoked meats and more. Guests are welcome to bring picnic baskets or can choose to indulge at the gourmet food trucks selling delicious cuisine ranging from BBQ to fresh wraps, seafood and more! For those who prefer a drink with their meal, a local beer from Flying Fish Brewery hits the spot.

Parents can enjoy sampling wines kid-free by dropping off their children 3-13 years of age at the Appel Farm Kids Camp for the day. The kids will enjoy age-appropriate activities such as arts projects, theatre games, and outdoor sports activities all under the direction of our talented teaching artists and trained summer camp staff. With over 55 years of camp experience, your children will be in a safe and caring environment that will let their creativity shine!

Those who love to cycle should join the Appel Farm Board of Trustees and staff on Sunday, June 4th at 9am for a South Jersey Cycling Tour sponsored by Subaru of America. The tour will travel throughout the picturesque fields and wooded countryside on a 22-mile route that leads to the Wagon House Winery in Swedesboro, NJ and back.
