BRANDON & LEAH SHOOT UP TO #82 ON THE BILLBOARD 200 WITH “CRONIES,” GRADUATING FROM #24 BILLBOARD “HEATSEEKERS” RE-ENTRY POSITION

The Eclectic Singer/Songwriter Duo Hit Major Spike, Also Landing #16 Billboard Independent Albums Chart and #24 Billboard Digital Albums Chart

“Cronies” Presents A Modern Twist On The Southern California Sound With Electro-Pop-Soul

(Los Angeles, CA) – Eclectic singer/songwriter duo BRANDON & LEAH shoot up the Billboard 200 charts to #82 with “CRONIES,” officially jumping off the “Heatseekers” chart from their #24 re-entry position, to achieve “Heatseeker Graduate” status. Brandon & Leah’s major chart spike also includes landing at #16 on the Billboard Independent Albums Chart and #24 on the Billboard Digital Albums Chart, for the week ending July 27, 2013.

The independently released “Cronies” presents a modern electro-pop-soul twist on the Southern California sound, featuring Leah’s honey-soaked, sultry delivery and Brandon’s masterful art & vision, in constructing a highly illuminating soundscape. The fan favorite track “Showstopper,” a popular theme song for E! Entertainment’s “Kourtney & Kim Take Miami” is included on “Cronies,” along with “Boom Boom Boom,” “You’re So Cold,” “House Of Cards” and “Say It Ain’t So,” which are also connecting with their growing audience. The duo recently sold-out Hotel Café to an enthusiastic, standing room only audience.

Brandon & Leah, who were once signed to a major label, opted out in order to self-manage and distribute their own creative works. They are receiving a strong promotional push from their appearances on “Keeping Up With The Kardashians.”

"Cronies” was produced by Brandon & Leah along with Tony Berg (Phantom Planet, Jesca Hoop) and delves into exotic rhythms, rich textures and heady vocals, achieving an extremely lush soundscape that showcases Brandon & Leah’s organic, yet masterful musicianship, while also mining their genre-bending influences. The project blends melody-rich arrangements with tracks that range from sultry, soulful anthems, to dreamy ballads, and lyrics that alternate between irresistibly playful and achingly sweet.
