Lifehouse Masters "Almeria" At Bernie Grundman's

Internationally acclaimed LA band Lifehouse mastered their new album "Almeria" at Bernie Grundman's in Hollywood. On hand were the band's longtime producer Jude Cole and recording engineer Florian Ammon. The first single, "Between The Raindrops," features British chanteuse Natasha Bedingfield. "The first single is an epic landscape of imagery featuring banjo, horse hoofs, gigantic timpani drums and bombastic toms," commented producer Jude Cole. "All this scenery provides backdrop for a gorgeous love song with a Spaghetti Western theme that sounds like no other record from Lifehouse or anyone else for that matter. When you try something new it's always risky, but this band doesn't mind taking risks. A song that proves why the guys have been around for 11 years and still going strong." Lifehouse is comprised of Jason Wade (lead vocals, rhythm guitar), Rick Woolstenhulme, Jr. (drums, percussion), Bryce Soderberg (bass guitar, back-up vocals) and Ben Carey (lead guitar). The band came to mainstream prominence in 2001 with the hit single "Hanging by a Moment" from their debut studio album, "No Name Face," and spent twenty weeks in the top 10 and more than a year on the charts. To date, Lifehouse has sold over 15 million singles and albums worldwide. "Bernie Grundman is both a master and a gentleman," remarked Cole. "There are few occasions in life when we get to exercise our true music geekness, adjusting our zoom to what layman might call dog whistle frequencies.
