ECCENTRIC POP ARTIST VII TO RELEASE DEBUT ALBUM
TAMPA, FL: The eclectic grooves of electronia combined with an 80's retro vibe is only part of the album that the artist known simply as VII has created. The structure is also in the story line of the meaning behind the words and expression of love people deal with on a lifetime basis. Born and raised in the Queensbridge Projects, the innovative style of the interactive media genius is a pioneer in the field of digital distribution and mp3 development. The album, which is primarily about the lifespan of a love relationship will be available for sale and download as an E-Book on May 7th 2013. "Sometimes it takes minutes to fall in love and decades to fall out of it, if not a lifetime," states artist "VII." The album was created by VII and mixed and mastered in St Petersburg FL at Black Dog Studios. "I like the way the album came out; I was very happy especially with the mixing and mastering portions of the project" states VII. "The one thing that I wish I was able to do more of is compose, sequence and record using a tablet such as an iPad. But I just don't think the technology is there yet; specifically good sequencing applications. That being said I think people would be surprised at where I recorded and produced a lot of this work." Though self produced, the mix and mastering session by engineer Peter Carter (Super Furry Animals, The Peth, MAMA) was what brought the album together for VII. "the job that Peter Carter did mixing it was phenomenal and let me appreciate the music from a totally different perspective." "Confessions Of A Love Affair" will be released via CD Baby and will be released digitally as well as an e-book both for Mac and PC. "I always kept my eye on the impact of technology in music; specifically how digital distribution would impact the music business, states VII.
