MusicDish*China Celebrates Chinese Lunar New Year With AsianInNY

Held at the New York Law School on February 23 from 6:00-10:00pm, the event will feature an exciting line-up of comedy, music, fashion, dance, and food in celebration of this major holiday and cultural event in Asian communities around the world. MusicDish*China and AsianInNY have collaborated on events in the past, notably the official CMJ "Taiwan Music" showcase on October 18 at the Union Square Ballroom. On the occasion of this special celebration, MusicDish*China will be raffling of an autographed flyer by Asia's Queen of Pop Jolin Tsai from her recent trip to Midem 2013 and concert at Paris' Le Trianon. MusicDish*China founder Eric de Fontenay hosted the consecutive press conferences announcing the collaboration of music superstars Jolin Tsai and renowned French musician Jean Michel Jarre to bring the Oxygen project to Asia. MC for the Lunar New Year Celebration will be Phil Nee, considered the Godfather of Asian American comedians. Simon 'Taiga' Tai, who can be seen spinning events for the likes of LVMH, Dior and Tag Heuer, will be the DJ for the evening. Featured performers include Singer Ki-Yo, Dancer Shoko Tamai, Lion Dance by the United East Athletics Association, the Takala Land Dance Company and NYC's soul/funk/R&B band 'Nuf Said.
