DANCE QUEEN KRISTINE W'S CLUB REMIX ALBUM IS CLIMBING THE CHARTS
Website: http://www.shockink.com/ Las Vegas- International dance queen Kristine W is keeping the dance beat pumping this year with the release of her new remix album, New & Number Ones Club Mixes Part 1, released Tuesday, February 5 on Fly Again Records. The 11-song collection is currently climbing the iTunes Dance Albums Chart. It also debuted at #2 on the Amazon dance/house download chart. The disc features club remixes of her chart-toppers and new tracks by Subgroover, DJ Howard, Bimbo Jones, Tod Miner, Bitrocka, Digital Dog, and others. Of Subgroover, who remixed three tracks on the collection ("Love Come Home," "Land of the Living," and "So Close to Me"), Kristine says, "Subgroover really latched on to the phrase 'glad to be alive' in 'Land of the Living.' It really hit me while performing this at different Pride events and AIDS fundraisers just how relevant the song's theme is to these communities. It relates to their endurance and the ability to live with HIV and AIDS and survive - a possibility that wasn't there over a decade ago when my music first connected with them. " Meanwhile, Kristine is featured in the hot new book, The World According to Wonder by the top Hollywood production company World of Wonder, who have produced such reality shows as RuPaul's Drag Race, Million Dollar Listing, Tori and Dean, Becoming Chaz, and more. The book is full of pop culture anecdotes featuring, along with Kristine (on page 179), Pamela Anderson, Carrie Fisher, Kelly Osborne, Chloe Sevigny, Perez Hilton, Linda Evangelista, and many more.
