Featuring talented songwriters from around the globe, the Songsalive! Showcases are the best industry secret, a great happening all around the world. We are thrilled to be back at the leading Music Convention: NAMM Anaheim. Hosted by Songsalive! Orange County Chapter Coordinator Rodney O'Riley. SONGSALIVE! SONGWRITERS PERFORMING: MIKE V With his blues inflected vocals and percussive guitar Mike V has performed in venues throughout Southern California. Mike V is a dynamic performer playing "Rock N' Blues with a Twist". His original songs tell stories that reflect real life and real emotions with healthy injection of humor from family man's view of the world. http://www.mikevmusic.com KATIE GARIBALDI Katie Garibaldi is a touring singer/songwriter and guitarist from the San Francisco Bay Area. Her latest release, Next Ride Out, produced by Michael Molenda, noted producer, engineer, and editor-in-chief of Guitar Player magazine, has catapulted the songstress' career into top speed. Katie has a characteristic musical style wherein her equally pop- and country-tinged folk-rock gives her a distinct and edgy sound of sparkling acoustic Americana. Katie Garibaldi is the winner of the Songsalive! 2012 Songwriter of the Year award. http://www.katiegaribaldi.com MICHAEL VANAGS Michael has been writing, recording and performing since the 1980's. He had some small successes and worked with publishers Ledgendsongs and Wade Neville Music. He took a break from the commercial scene for a few years. Now he is back at it. Recently he started working with Pianist Samantha Materile creating new songs and re-working some others. Making music is the greatest amusement park ride, and it never ends. http://www.soundcloud.com/michael-vanags THADEUS GONZALEZ Oakland-based vocalist/songwriter Thadeus Gonzalez is, according to critics, "a frontman to watch." He provided lead vocals to the acclaimed rock band Electric Sister, and with its debut record, earned accolades from Blabbermouth ("a definitive rock 'n' roll voice") to Metal Kaoz ("arena looking/sounding attitude"). The band opened for Motley Crue and Kiss, Slash, and Black Label Society. An excellent songwriter and guitar player in his own right, Thadeus parted ways with the band to write and record his own melodic rock debut record, and collaborate with some of the best in the business. http://www.reverbnation.com/thadeusgonzalez KAYE REZNICK A contemporary folksinger/songwriter, actively performing in southern California and beyond, both as a solo act and with other southbay musicians. His folk roots can be heard in his finger-picking guitar style and priority for lyrics. Kaye's had several award-winning songs and was named the Songsalive! Songwriter of the Year for 2010. http://www.kayereznick.com LIZ NASH Liz Nash, originally from New York, has been honing her craft for as long as she can remember. With her bluesy voice and guitar in hand, she has shared the stage with artists including Eddie Money, The Gin Blossoms as well as many others. She regularly preforms at MussikMesse/Music China in Shanghai and Beijing as well as in her home town Southern California. http://www.liznash.net Since 1997, Songsalive! is a non-profit membership organization dedicated to the nurturing, support, promotion and education of songwriters and composers worldwide.
