On the heels of its critically-acclaimed debut album LIVIN' released last month on Way Out West Records, Country band LiveWire has signed for booking representation with William Morris Endeavor (WME) in Nashville. WME is the largest talent agency in the world and a dominant force in the Country marketplace with a roster of superstar acts including Taylor Swift, Blake Shelton, Reba and Rascal Flatts.
"We are very excited to be a part of the WME family," says LiveWire lead guitarist and founder, Bobby DeGonia. "It is a huge step for us and we look forward to great things to come from this."
LiveWire features DeGonia on lead guitar and harmony vocals; Andy Eutsler on lead vocals and acoustic guitar; Danny Bell on rhythm guitar and harmony vocals; Cory Shultz on fiddle and harmony vocals and Landon Rolfe on bass guitar. (Original drummer Adam Hagerman has recently departed the group.) The Joplin, Missouri-based musicians are impressing fans and industry insiders alike with their unique Ozark Mountain firebrand Country Rock sound and top-notch songwriting skills.
LiveWire is currently promoting their new single "Lies" and just wrapped its first radio tour of the Midwest where members of the group visited their home town station, KIXQ/Joplin, MO; KTCS/Ft. Smith, AR; KVOO/Tulsa/OK; KTTS/Springfield, MO; KVWF/Wichita, KS.; KREK/Bristow/OK; KUSH/Cushing, OK and KKOW/Pittsburg, KS.
LiveWire capped the radio tour with a concert show at Twisters in Pittsburg, where the band surprised their fans when KIXQ morning show host/PD Randy Brooks joined them on stage to lay down some hot guitar licks on the Doobie Brothers classic, "Long Train Runnin'. "
