The bands mainstream debut came in 2004 and 2005, as KansasCali, on the 2005 78th Academy Awards winning movie CRASH Inspired By sound track with their song If I… along with the International Soundtrack of Mr. & Mrs. Smith. The bands success, lead them to feature on 4 more movie soundtracks, Orlando Bloom’s Haven, ESPN’s Once In A Lifetime, Kickin It Old Skool, etc The music video his band did for CRASH was featured in the Special Features section of the CRASH DVD which sold over 10 million units. Prior to the bands mainstream success, Novelist belong to one of L.A. most influential & legendary Hip-Hop underground rap crews called the Mass Men.INDIEPOWER CEO/Founder Jay Warsinske calls N.I.C.E. : an innovator & breath of fresh air in today's music scene & the instigator to get female icon STACEY DASH to sing & do a music video for all her fans worldwide on the LIFE OF THE PARTY song.
