The Huffington Post, a leading source of news, opinion, entertainment, community and digital information, reveals its pick for the best 30 movies of 2012, on The Huffington Post Entertainment section.
"This has been a great year for movies, from micro-budget revelations like 'Beasts of the Southern Wild' to way-better-than-they-had-to-be blockbusters like 'Marvel's The Avengers,' to genuinely satisfying prestige pics like 'Lincoln,'" said Michael Hogan, Executive Arts and Entertainment Editor for The Huffington Post. "We've covered every angle of every notable release this year, and now our editors have taken stock of it all to produce this authoritative top-30 list. Now if only we could figure out how to get all these great movies onto one streaming service!"
Topping HuffPost Entertainment's lineup is "Zero Dark Thirty," "Lincoln" and "Beasts of Southern Wild." Editors interviewed "Lincoln" leading actors Sally Field and James Spader; "Beasts of Southern Wild" director Behn Zeitlin and actor Dwight Henry.
