2013 Spring Songwriting Workshop Moderated by: Mike Doyle-Major Bob Music
The Workshop will focus primarily on the writing, critiquing and re-writing of songs. There will be two publishing and an A&R guest for three of the nights. We will listen to a song from everyone each night, 12 students over 2 hours. Mike will critique the songs and if there are re-writes necessary the writer will take a week to work on the song and then bring it back.
If further revisions are required on the song the writer will go back and continue to work on it. You won’t move on to another song until Mike thinks the song is finished. Finished, may not mean it’s pitchable, but it’s the process of re-writing and eliminating mistakes that will be the primary focus of the class.

Additional Option-$100 for two 30 minute one on one sessions. Can be purchased at any time during the Workshop
