Joe Caro, Clifford Carter, Lou Marini, Anton Fig, Conrad Korsch, Lew Soloff And Randy Brecker Live At Drom, NYC December 13th presented by Innsbruck Records

In the New York City underground scene, Joe Caro led an allstar band which included trumpeter Chris Botti, saxman Lenny Pickett, Late show drummer Anton Fig, bassist Will Lee, trumpeter Randy Brecker and saxman Andy Snitzer among several other notables performing every Tuesday night at the NYC club, The Metropolitan Café. What started out as a two week gig, continued for eight years and became the home base for many New York City session musicians at a time when New York music clubs were far and few.

Innsbruck Records Presents, at DROM club, NYC - Joe Caro and The Met band featuring Joe Caro (Aretha Franklin, Lenny Kravitz, Crosby, Stills and Nash), Clifford Carter (James Taylor, Natalie Cole, Eddie Palmieri), Lou Marini (Tony Bennett, Eric Clapton, The Rolling Sones), Anton Fig (Bob Dylan, Mick Jagger, Madonna), Conrad Korsch (Rod Stewart, Carole King, Taylor Swift), Lew Soloff (Barbra Streisand, Ornette Coleman, Elvis Costello), and Randy Brecker (Frank Sinatra, Bruce Springsteen, Jaco Pastorius).


OPENING ACT: Majestic K Funk
Majestic K Funk, at its core, comprises brothers Michael (vocals) and Jameel Young (vox and drums). They have been performing in NY since the 70s and have worked with such greats as Luther Vandross, Marcus Miller and Jaco Pastorius. In the 90s, they were joined by Miguel Mateus (bass) who has collaborated with musicians such as Greg Errico, Sim Cain, Dennis Davis and Bernie Worel. Majestic K Funk performs weekly and has shared the stage with Blue Magic, The Manhattans, Ohio Players and The Whispers.
