UK Music Joins The Alliance For Intellectual Property
UK Music, the umbrella organisation representing the commercial UK music industry, have joined the Alliance for Intellectual Property.
UK Music membership includes existing Alliance members BPI and PRS for Music, as well as organisations that represents the UK's songwriters, musicians, managers, and record labels among others.
Jo Dipple, Chief Executive of UK Music, said "I am delighted that UK Music is now a member of the Alliance for Intellectual Property, an organisation working effectively to promote IP across the creative sector. Its key priorities are aligned with those of UK Music around policy, innovation and growth. The Alliance is a powerful coalition at a time when the IP-based industries need to be working collaboratively to strengthen their public policy messaging. I am very much looking forward to working with Susie and the Alliance to reinforce Intellectual Property as core economic force in the UK."
