New Product Innovations Push QRS Music Technologies, Inc. Back Into Chinese Market

QRS Music Technologies, Inc., a leader in the design, manufacture and distribution of piano-based audio and multimedia products, music, piano technologies, Story & Clark pianos, and other digital audio accessories, announced its long awaited reentry into the China market. Tom Dolan, QRS Music, President and CEO said, "Efforts over the last four years enabled the Company to utilize several newly developed technologies to enter the market with secure content. The cornerstone of the technological advantages is incorporated into the PNOscan and PNOmation product lines."

Dolan added, "The Chinese piano market is exponentially the largest piano market in the world. In anticipation of entering the market, we set out several years ago to develop technologies that insured our customer's access to secure content and easy to use off the shelf interfaces. The combination of PNOscan, PNOmation, our own proprietary embedded content security, as well as our Patented SyncAlong content gives us the means."

"We kicked off these efforts with a trade show booth at the China Music Fair in Shanghai last month. Our plan will be to leverage our presence in Hong Kong along with several of our current Story & Clark piano suppliers to market our technology. At the fair we also established several relationships with distributors that have a national profile in China," Dolan said.

QRS released a version of its PNOmation operating system with Chinese Language Support and free access to 300 tracks of traditional Chinese music. The player system interfaces with virtually any smart device that supports Wi-Fi. The traditional market for player pianos are commercial establishments; the combination of the scheduling capabilities, proven reliability, and network integration of PNOmation make it a very desirable addition to any environment. Our approach has enabled us to add new features as the market demands. It is similar to adding an App or interfacing with an existing one.
