UK ELECTRO RAP ROCK TRIO ELEPHANT 12 RELOCATING TO CANADA WITH NEW SINGLE "HOLIDAY"
For Immediate Release: November 12, 2012 (Toronto, ON); With an unapologetic punk rock attitude, Elephant 12 delivers hard hitting guitar riffs, experimental programming and catchy lyrics that have East London's underground scene buzzing. Elephant 12 is releasing their first single and video in Canada, "Holiday," leading up to the groups relocation and early 2013 showcases in Toronto, Ontario. Vocalist Jerome, guitarist Robbie and programming Manlio join forces to help bring out an intriguing sonic sound that is captivating to many. Elephant 12 is known for their high energy stage performances with sing-along anthems such as, "Diet Coke," "Holiday" and "Shut Up." Because of the impressive performances, they have amassed a huge cult-like following for the band. The energy during performances can pump up even the not so advent party rockers by encouraging them to get up on the dance floor and shake what their mama gave em. Elephant 12's fame grew with the help of fans regularly posting live performances on YouTube. Even after celebrating their long awaited self-titled EP, which was lauded by online magazines such as Fred Perry Sub Culture, Who’s Jack and BBC based solely on their refreshing approach to new music. The groups lyrics touch on love, daily realities and heartfelt emotions all while ignoring all the mellow-dramatic sad sob beats, yet, they still make a statement to stay emotionally connected.
