Halloween with Rafael & Energía Dominicana at Montreal's legendary Club Balattou. Featuring 9 musicians on stage performing Rafael's orignal music: merengue, bachata, tropicale and more.
Rafael invites you to bring a donation of non-perishable food items for the Montreal organisation Sun Youth/Jeunesse au Soleil the night of the show at Club Balattou.

Description: Rafael is a Montreal based singer, songwriter from Bani, Dominican Republic. Rafael & Energía Dominicana is his 9 x piece orchestra and features a group of Montreal’s most talented musicians including the renowned Haitian guitarist Toto Laraque. Rafael writes different genres of Latin music repertoire, but is known mostly as a composer and interpreter of the Dominican rhythms merengue and bachata.

To date, Rafael & Energía Dominicana has performed at some of Canada’s great events and festivals including: Vancouver 2010 Cultural Olympics/Paralympics; Le Festival International Nuits D’Afrique for 3 years consecutive, La TOHU-La Falla, Festival International Rhythms du Monde de Saguenay, Calgary Expo Latino, and the Festival International de Merengue de Montreal and more. Rafael volunteers as a singer and guest speaker for a variety of events and organisations that include Heritage Home Rehabilitation and Jeunesse au soleil/Sun Youth of Montreal. Rafael is currently in studio in Montreal producing his debut album…….
