Block Starz Music Launches Summer Release Schedule With "The Manual Procedures"
Website: http://www.blockstarzmusic.com/ Block Starz Music in association with Money First Music Group has released The Manual Procedures, now available on iTunes, by Trenton, New Jersey emcee Boom Blake as the lead off to the German-American digital imprint's summer schedule. Block Starz released two street singles and music videos from The Manual Procedures, the radio-friendly "Got It On Lock" and raucous street anthem “Conquer Rap”, in the fall of 2011 and grabbed the attention of major urban outlets like All Hip Hop, World Star Hip Hop, and XXL Magazine. Boom Blake, who has shared stages and collaborated with the likes of Cassidy, J.R. Writer, Styles P, and Beanie Sigel, is now filming third music video for the 13-track album's official first single, the hard-hitting “Wilt Chamberlain”, which takes its name from the legendary Hall of Fame NBA center. "A procedure manual is simply a step by step directional guide on how to get something done," says Boom Blake of his Block Starz Music solo debut, which will be followed by new releases by 24-year-old Sacramento, CA hip-hop artist Lady Remedy, Hispanic rap trio Block Movement, hardcore Alabama rap group Loced Out Ent., and a compilation of various indie artists from the Carolinas. "I went through a really rough patch, going to court over charges, losing friends to either jail, the streets, and random acts of crime, lost my job and was back into the streets for a bit -- really negative things that could prevent me from doing music. Luckily, I found somethings that switched my attitude and got me focused back on track and to getting this money. So, the concept of The Manual Procedures is me explaining to others on how I bounced back, so others can do it just like I did." Block Starz Music and Money First Music Group have scheduled an aggressive campaign for The Manual Procedures, which will include a combination of online marketing, street promotion, and local cable advertising spots on Black Entertainment Television and VH1.
