MTV News Now Special Presents "The Fake Id Club"
New York, NY -- November 22, 2000 -- MTV News Now special explores the year of the movers, the shakers and the taste-makers who are all under 21 in "The Fake ID Club," which premieres Saturday, December 2 at 2:00 - 2:30PM (ET/PT). In this special, MTV examines the impact of these under-aged trendsetters and how they changed the world in the year 2000. Hosted by Beyonce of Destiny's Child, MTV picks 2000's most intriguing fresh faces in music, movies, the internet, sports and pop culture at large. In this special, MTV profiles a rapidly maturing Britney Spears who turns 19 on December 2, the premiere date of this special. In addition, MTV explores an all-grown up Kirsten Dunst, the star of "Bring It On" & "Virgin Suicides," the 13 year-old hip hop prodigy, Lil Bow Wow, and the tennis queen Venus Williams. Lastly, MTV features the man who changed the world this year, the 20 year-old napster creator, Shawn Fanning, during the MTV New Now special, "The Fake ID Club."
