Six Band Benefit Concert to raise awareness and money against Human Trafficking

Grand Rapids, MI, October 10th, 2011 11/11/11 Marks a special day around the globe as 300 bands play freedom benefit concerts to aid in the awareness to Stop Human Trafficking for The Traffic Jam Non-profit Organization. Traffic Jam, raises awareness and involvement to fight human trafficking around the globe. Traffic Jam mobilizes musicians and fans to speak out against this grave injustice. Since 2004, Traffic Jam has invested in trafficking prevention/aftercare programs in over 70 countries, using community-based solutions that empower nationals to provide security and hope to their communities.

The Salvation Army Kroc Center is hosting the event in West Michigan featuring 6 top performing Christian bands. Tommee Profitt and national recording artist NF will headline, joining the effort will be Bridgette Donoho, The Jason Eaton Band, Uptown Praise Band and Bread Life, formerly Fled Five is returning to West Michigan to take part in the event. The free Traffic Jam GR concert will take place Friday, November 11th 6-9p.m. Doors will open at 5:30, and concessions are available for sale. Those that attend may give a freewill offering that will be donated toward the cause.
