Bookmark and Share

Never before released Lady Gaga demo CDs, along with a performance DVD from her days as Stefani Germanotta, all from her first manager Bob Leone will hit the auction block next week at the upcoming GOTTA HAVE IT! Rock & Roll Pop Culture Auction. Also up for auction is a spectacular line up of rock 'n roll / pop culture items that are as legendary as the stars themselves. The items run the gamut from the Paul McCartney's original handwritten lyrics for "Maxwell's Silver Hammer," including revisions to John Lennon's fingerprinted application for US residence from Elvis Presley's brown suede jacket worn at the "Million Dollar Quartet" Sun Studio sessions to Bob Dylan's handwritten and dated lyrics to "Song to Woody," the first song he ever recorded, The auction will go live at http://www.gottahaverockandroll.com/ starting Wednesday, October 6th through Friday, October 15th.

GOTTA HAVE IT!, a leader in rare, authentic sports, historical and music memorabilia, offers music devotees the opportunity to put a price on the priceless and own a piece of pop culture history. Autographs from rock 'n roll royalty, vintage concert posters, rare vinyl records and original artwork will be available, but what avid fans will find simply irresistible include:

* Lady Gaga's Never Publicly Released 2002 Original Demo CD Recording: A Lady Gaga never before released original demo CD that she personally was peddling to record labels in hopes of realizing her dream. The CD has a copyright of 2001 handwritten on the disk and "Copyright 2002" typed on the cover insert. Also printed is Lady Gaga's legal name, Stefani Germanotta, Additional Lady Gaga items include: A performance DVD from the OSIA Showcase in 2006 at The Cutting Room in New York City and an EP from 2005 released as the Stefani Germanotta Band titled "Words." All Lady Gaga material comes from her first manager Bob Leone.

* John Lennon and Paul McCartney Earliest Known Pair of Signatures from 1958: These are John Lennon and Paul McCartney's earliest known pair of signatures, signed in a guest book in Liverpool, December 22, 1958. Also signed by John's future wife, Cynthia Powell, on a separate page. An historically important document showing 16 year old Paul and 18 year old John, now members of the Quarrymen, arriving together.

* Princess Diana Worn Fuchsia Pink Evening Dress by Victor Edelstein: Originated from the famous Christie's auction, this extraordinary "thirties" inspired fuchsia pink silk dress designed by Victor Edelstein was worn by Princess Diana at The Mansion House for Help the Hospice. Princess Diana, known for her tireless work on behalf of various charities, had helped to put this auction together just months before her tragic death on August 31, 1997. The sale featured only Diana's dresses and raised over five million dollars for her causes. The dress is softly draped in a cowl off-the-shoulder and the skirt has an inverted wrap-over front pleat. Victor Edelstein's label is attached inside the dress. Edelstein's dresses for Diana were featured throughout this historic auction, as he was one of her favorite designers who really helped Diana to develop her look. The dress auction includes a hard cover catalogue signed by Princess Diana.

* Michael Jackson Handwritten Drug Instruction note: An incredibly revealing handwritten note by Michael Jackson. Michael wrote a reminder to himself on this 7 x 9 piece of paper what to do before going to sleep and kept it on his night table. Additional Michael Jackson items include: The Swarovski lochrosen stone crystal studded black velvet riding helmet was worn by Michael Jackson during his 1981 "Triumph" tour, the pair of black spandex gloves covered with silver buckles worn by Michael Jackson during the photo shoot and video for the "Bad" album cover and the suit of armor that Michael gifted to Tony Martell.

* Elvis Presley's Personally Used Gibson Guitar Also Used In "It Happened At The World's Fair": This is Elvis Presley's movie and personally used Gibson acoustic guitar that he frequently played at Graceland with his close friend Charlie Hodge in impromptu jam sessions. Elvis also played this beautiful guitar in his 1963 MGM film, "It Happened at the World's Fair." The guitar is featured prominently in the film during two production numbers, "The Sandman's Coming" and the popular "One Broken Heart for Sale." Elvis eventually gifted the guitar to Hodge and a letter of provenance from Hodge accompanies the guitar. The guitar also comes with color photographs of Elvis playing the guitar in a number of scenes from the movie. This is one of Elvis' most beautiful guitars used in a film.

* Additional iconic clothing from: Jimi Hendrix, Kurt Cobain, James Brown, Elton John, Britney Spears and more. Also included, Steven Tyler's signed credit card with his legal name (Steven Tallarico).

* Items also from The Rolling Stones, Eric Clapton, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Bruce Springsteen, The Doors, Andy Warhol, Keith Haring and many more!!
